The hire car costs are paid by the insurer of the ‘at fault’ party. In a minimal amount of cases, it may be necessary to commence legal proceedings in your name. So long as you are honest and co-operate with us and our partners in our efforts to recover the hire car costs and do not otherwise breach the Rental Agreement, then you will not be required to pay the hire car costs out of your own pocket, regardless of whether we only recover a portion of those costs or fail to recover them at all. However, you will need to pay for any charges that you incur whilst you have possession and use of one of our partners vehicles (e.g. tolls and fines).

You will be entitled to keep the replacement vehicle for the period of time it takes to repair your own vehicle. In the event you vehicle is classed as a total loss you will be entitled to keep the replacement until you have been paid out for your total loss.

As part of any insurance claim our partner repairers can only repair accident related damage to your vehicle at the expense of the at fault party. If you do wish for any private work to be completed you may negotiate a price for this work with our repair partners directly.
